Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has given great encouragement to the officers and officials who have excellent performance in eradicating the crimes. IG Punjab invited the best performing officers and officials from Lahore, Jhelum and Sheikhupura region to CPO and awarded them certificates of appreciation and cash prizes for their best performance. 01 police team from Lahore, 04 teams from Sheikhupura, 07 from Kasur, 07 from Nankana and 01 from Jhelum were among the recipients of the awards. IG Punjab encouraged 69 officers and personnel in total with Rs 10,000 cash each and certificates of appreciation.
According to the details, ASP Syed Ahsan Ullah Shah, SDPO Operations Shahdrah was awarded with a certificate of appreciation for excellent performance. A 06-member team under the supervision of ASP Ahsan ullah Shah brought to justice the accused of the dangerous gang who were escaping after the crime incident. All other officers and officials who received the rewards arrested the dangerous criminals wanted in various serious incidents including blind murder, robbery, murder and brought them to justice. Addressing the officers, IG Punjab said that intelligence-based operations should be speeded up to protect the lives and property of citizens and eliminate organized crime. IGP Punjab emphasized that Drug free Punjab, Never Again campaign for protection of women and children and ongoing crackdown to arrest proclaimed offenders and fugitives should be intensified. Addressing the officers, IG Punjab said that certificates of appreciation and cash rewards are not a substitute for good performance, the purpose is to motivate all the force for more better performance. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar gave tasks to police teams of all the five districts to perform their duties more diligently. DIG Headquarters, SP OCU South, AIG Discipline, SP Investigation Cantt and other officers were also present in the ceremony.
