The police teams arrested and brought to justice the criminals of inter-provincial drug gangs, extortion, robbery, murder and other serious crimes.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has awarded certificates of appreciation to the officers & officials of CIA Lahore and Sheikhupura Police for successfully tracing out serious cases including robbery, murder, extortion. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar encouraged the brave officers and officials who eradicated serious crimes, IGP Punjab said that the determination and courage of the dutiful and brave officials is a bright example, their encouragement will inspire others and raise the spirit of better performance in the entire force. IG Punjab said that the officers and officials who work with the spirit of Jihad to suppress crimes are the real heroes, appreciation certificates and awards are not a substitute for their excellent commitment and great performance, real purpose is to appreciate their diligence and excellent services. IG Punjab expressed these views while addressing a function held at the Central Police Office.
According to the details, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar awarded certificates of appreciation to 08 teams of CIA Lahore and 10 teams of Sheikhupura Police. The teams headed by Inspector Syed Hussain Haider, Inspector Chaudhry Faisal Sharif, ASI Muhammad Asif of CIA Lahore worked out the cases of serious crimes successfully.The perpetrators of inter-provincial drug gangs, extortion, robbery and other crimes including murder have been brought to justice. Sheikhupura police teams busted criminals involved in dacoity gang-rape, notorious drug peddlers, and other crimes. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, while encouraging the brave officers, said that measures will be continued at all levels to honour the officers and personnel with excellent performance. Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, SSP Discipline, SPs, senior officers were also present in the ceremony.
