Central Police Office: Rank assignment ceremony of 32 promoted inspectors were held.

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar organized a special ceremony to honor the officers who were promoted to the inspector rank at CPO, in which IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and other senior officers pinned the new ranks to recently promoted inspectors. Families and children of the promoted officers exclusively attended the ceremony held at the Central Police Office.
IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar congratulated the promoted officers and directed them to perform their duties more diligently. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that 07 boards have also been held for promotion from Inspector to DSP rank, the eighth will be held soon. IG Punjab said that more new vacancies are coming in Organized Crime Unit, Cyber Crime Unit, Safe Cities Authority. Dr. Usman Anwar said that more promotions are going to be done in CTD very soon and more promotions will be done next month. IG Punjab said that more than 24 hundred jobs have been given to martyrs and heirs of death in service and more measures will continue for the welfare of police employees and their families. IG Punjab said that Punjab Police is the guardian force of more than 1600 martyrs and 1700 Ghazis. IG Punjab directed that the protection of lives, properties and honor of the citizens, hard work, best service and honesty should be the motto of the force. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the process of promotions will continue in all field formations on the basis of merit, seniority and complete transparency. Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, DIG Headquarters, DIG Establishment I & II and ASPs attended the ceremony.
