IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Promotes 26 Inspectors to DSP Rank
Inspector General Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has promoted 26 inspectors to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). The notification for the promotions was signed by IG Punjab, who also issued a video message in this regard.
The 26 inspectors, hailing from various districts, have been elevated to the position of DSP. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that promotions should be based on merit, without any undue influence, stating that the second promotion board of the year convened today and the next one is already in preparation. He instructed for strict compliance of merit and emphasized the importance of serving Pakistan diligently. Dr.Usman Anwar assured that the process of promotions will continue, underscoring the great commitment to justice and the protection of Pakistan. Additional IG Punjab, Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, chaired the promotion board meeting held today at the Central Police Office.
