LAHORE:A suspected robber was arrested after he was injured in an encounter with Chowki Sher Shah police here on Monday. A police team had signalled to stop two suspected robbers in the Chuhng area picket. The suspects instead of complying with the order resorted to firing. As police retaliated, a suspect received bullet injury while his accomplice fled the scene. He was arrested and shifted to hospital. Police also recovered three mobile phones, two purse and cash from his custody. The arrested suspect was identified as Asad. A bike stolen from Sabzazar was also recovered from him.
