IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed for the best welfare of Police Force and their families
So far this year, more than 01 billion, 02 crore, 17 lakh rupees have been released to police employees in various categories of welfare.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring priority measures for the best welfare of the police force and their families, in continuation of which police employees have been provided with full support in all categories of welfare during the past year. Spokesman of Punjab Police said that during the first four months of this year, more than 01 billion, 02 crore, 17 lakh rupees have been released to police employees in various categories of welfare.
According to the details, more than 39.52 million rupees were given as educational scholarships to the children of police employees, In the category of medical financial assistance, more than 10 crore 36 lakh 46 thousand rupees were given to the employees. 23 crores, 34 lakh rupees were paid to the daughters of police martyrs and employees in the wedding gift category. In the category of Farewell Grant, more than 10 crore and 30 lakh rupees were paid, more than 11 crores, 84 lakh 76 thousand was paid to the families of police employees in the category of maintenance allowance. 01 crore 55 lakh rupees were given to the families of the martyrs for the construction of houses. 01 crore 53 lakh rupees were given to the force for legal assistance. 02 crores, 74 lakhs 50 thousand rupees were given to the families of police employees in the category of funeral expenses, while in the category of urgent financial assistance, more than 97 lakhs have been paid to police employees.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the Punjab Police is providing all possible relief to the force with the effective use of its welfare resources, further measures will continue for the best welfare of the police martyrs and the families of the employees. IG Punjab said that more programs are being conceived in collaboration with other institutions to provide more facilities to the police force.
