LAHORE: Rescue 15 emergency police helpline got artificial intelligence support. The 15 emergency number has been linked to artificial intelligence and transferred to IVR system. Now instead of direct communication officer, five options are given to call 15. In which the nature of the emergency is asked and the callers are given the option to push the relevant number from their phone. According to the Safe Cities Authority, there has been a clear reduction in unnecessary calls through the IVR system. In case of emergency, women can report their problem directly to the female police officer by pressing 2 in the IVR system.
