IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited Qila Gujjar Singh Police Lines, attended the funeral prayers of martyred Constable Imran Haider of Lahore Police.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited Police Lines Fort Gujjar Singh and participated in the funeral prayer of Shaheed Constable Imran Haider of Lahore Police. Imran Haider, a constable stationed at Baghbanpura police station, Lahore, was martyred in a fight with robbers early in the morning. CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, DIG Headquarters Humayun Bashir Tarar, DIG Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Investigation Zeeshan Asghar, SSP Operations Ali Raza, SSPs of Lahore Police , AIG Operations Punjab, SPs, senior officers, jawans were present in large numbers. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar saluted the body of Constable Imran Haider, laid floral wreath. Prayers were offered for the high ranks of Constable Imran Haider's soul, while an diligent and active squad of the police presented guard of honor to the body of the martyr Imran Haider.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar while paying tribute to the eternal sacrifice of Constable Imran Haider said that Constable Imran Haider made the department proud by sacrificing his life in the line of duty. Constable Imran Haider was 38 years old, belonged to Batapur, Lahore, his family includes his wife, 01 son and 07 daughters. IG Punjab met the family of the martyr and assured them of full cooperation from the department. IGP Punjab said that the Punjab Police will take all possible care for the welfare of Constable Imran Haider's family.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid tribute to Constable Imran Haider who lost his life during the fight against the robbers said that Constable Imran Haider sacrificed his life bravely fighting dangerous robbers in Baghbanpura area. Punjab Police will always remember the eternal sacrifice of Constable Imran Haider. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the best welfare of the martyr's family is the responsibility of the department and all possible care will be taken. IG Punjab directed DIG Operations Lahore to provide best care to head constable Dilawar who was injured in the incident. IGP Punjab said that all possible measures should be taken for the speedy recovery of Head Constable Dilawar, Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is a guardian force of more than 16 hundred martyrs like Imran Haider and more than 1700 brave Ghazis like Head Constable Dilawar.
