Central Police Office: IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directions: compensation award committee meeting held.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has released another 17.5 lakhs for the treatment of the force, spokesman Punjab Police.
Under the direction of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, a meeting of the compensation award committee was held at the Central Police Office. The committee under the chairmanship of Additional IG Welfare and Finance Riyaz Nazir Gara reviewed the health welfare cases of the personnel posted in various districts. After scrutiny of the cases, the committee forwarded the cases to IG Punjab for funds release. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has released another 17.5 lakhs rupees for the treatment of the force.
According to the details, Injured ASI Arshad Hussain from Mandi Bahaudin police was given 05 lakh for medical expenses, Injured constable Ijaz Hussain from DG Khan police was also given 05 lakh rupees for medical expenses. Rs. 03 lakh rupees were given to injured constable Salman shoukat from Kasur for treatment expenses. Two and a half lakh rupees were released for the treatment of the injured constable Nasir Yaqoob of Sialkot, 02 lakh rupees were given to the injured constable Husnain Akhtar of Mandi Bahauddin for medical expenses, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that more measures will continue for the welfare of police personnel, their children and families.
