IGP Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar honored best performing officers of Lahore Police in a ceremony held at Central Police Office
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar awarded certificates of appreciation to the officers and officials for arresting the accused involved in serious crimes including murder, attempted murder, robbery, spokesman Punjab.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has encouraged the officers and officials of Lahore Police with letters of appreciation for excellent performance in crime control and public service delivery. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar awarded certificates of appreciation to the officers and officials for arresting the accused involved in serious crimes including murder, attempted murder, and robbery. In a ceremony held at the Central Police Office, 50 officers and officials serving in Operations, Investigation and Organized Crime Unit of Lahore police were awarded letters of appreciation and cash prizes. DIG Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Organized Crime Unit Imran Kishwar, DIG Investigation Lahore Zeeshan Asghar, SSP Operations Lahore Syed Ali Raza, SP OCU Furqan Bilal, SP City Captain (retd) Qazi Ahmad Raza, SP Operations Cant. Awais Shafique, SP City Investigation Munaza Karamat, ASP Shahdara Syed Ahsan ullah Khan, DSPs Mian Qadeer, Sajjad Ahmad, Rashid Ameen received the letters of appreciation. IG Punjab awarded other 40 officers and personnel from constable to inspector rank with CC1 certificate and cash prizes.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the Lahore Police teams handled several high-profile cases with high professionalism, during the police operation, the dangerous accused Muhammad Abbas and Haider Ali , accused in 11 cases including the murder of a young girl in Shahdara were brought to justice. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that encouraging officers and officials with excellent performance is a good tradition of Punjab Police which will be continued. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar also gave the task to police officers to further intensify the crackdown against criminals. Dr. Usman Anwar said to tighten the circle around the suspects involved in the heinous drug trade, including Ice. Senior officers including Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, DIG Headquarters Humayun Bashir, AIG Discipline Asif Ameen were present on the spot.
