On the direction of IG Punjab, the meeting of the Compensation Award Committee held,
IGP Punjab issued another 08 lakh 50 thousand rupees for the treatment of police employees.
On the direction of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar compensation award committee meeting was held in the welfare branch, in which the cases sent from various districts were carefully reviewed and relief was provided to the employees for medical treatment.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar released another 08 lakh 50 thousand rupees for the health welfare of police employees. According to the details, Rs. 03 lakh were provided to injured Ghazi constable Abdul Rehman from Lahore police. Two and a half lakh rupees were given for medical treatment to PHP Gujranwala sub-inspector Faisal Imran. 02 lakh rupees were given to the injured Ghazi Constable Muhammad Ilyas of Lahore Police for medical expenditures. Injured Ghazi Head Constable Faryad Hussain was given Rs. 01 lakh for medical expenses. The welfare committee chaired by Additional IG Welfare Riaz Nazir Gara approved the above mentioned cases after scrutiny. IGP Punjab said that the best treatment of Ghazi officers and officials is the first priority, and all possible cooperation will remain continue in this regard.
