LAHORE: Police Saturday apprehended a person for harassing a girl. A distressed girl from Gulberg area made an emergency call on 15 that a motorcyclist attempted to harass her outside her office. A Safe City Authority team immediately sent police for rescue on the girl's complaint. The suspect was traced through Safe City cameras and apprehended. A Safe City spokesperson stated that women should install the 'Women Safety App' on their mobile phones to ensure their protection. Women can avail immediate assistance through the Women Safety App's Alert 15 and Live Chat features. So far, more than 300,000 women have installed the Punjab Police Women Safety App.
