The spokesman of Punjab Police has said on the matter of the viral video of policemen flying kites that on 1st March, when this viral video came to light, Faisalabad police immediately inquired about it. This viral video of 03 policemen flying kites is 01 years old, 01 policeman seen in the video was posted in district Faisalabad, Faisalabad police immediately suspended the said official by taking departmental action. Spokesman Punjab Police further said that the inquiry against the said official was assigned to SP Iqbal Town, who have recommended strict departmental action whereas the reports about other officials were sent to PC headquarters for departmental action.
The spokesman of Punjab Police said that this video was once again broadcast on different channels yesterday, while the news of the official's suspension was also broadcast on the same day too.
