Central Police Office: On the direction of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, meeting of the Welfare Management Committee held.

IGP Punjab issued another 11 lakh rupees for medical expenses to police employees of various districts including Lahore.

On the direction of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, meeting of Welfare Management Committee held at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab released another 11 lakh rupees for the medical expenses of the police personnel posted in different districts after scrutiny of the medical cases of the police personnel received from regional and district office.

According to the details, Rohail Rafiq, the son of Khanewal Constable Mohammad Rafiq (late), was given 03 lakh 62 thousand rupees for kidney transplant. Retired sub-inspector Muhammad Sharif of Toba Tek Singh was given two and a half lakh rupees for the treatment of his wife's liver tumor. Special Branch Constable Imtiaz Ahmad was given 02 lakh 50 thousand rupees for the treatment of his wife. Driver Constable Mehmood Rizwan was given Rs. 01 lakh 50 thousand for the treatment of leg fracture. Rawalpindi Constable Muhammad Saleem was given Rs. 01 lakh for treatment. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar instructed to continue the measures for the welfare of the police force and their families. IGP Punjab said that income generated from police welfare sources should be more effectively used for the health, education and welfare of the force.
