Punjab police accelerated the operation against kacha criminals, one robber killed, 03 injured.
On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the operation of Punjab Police against kacha criminals is continue and in recent action a heavy contingent of police entered the robbers' hideouts. DPO Rajanpur Dost Mohammad said that the robbers of Lund and Dolani gangs left their hideouts & ambush and escaped. Police team set fire to the robbers' hideouts, one robber was killed and 03 were injured due to police firing. DPO Rajanpur further said that one policeman was slightly injured during the operation. The exchange of fire between police and robbers continued for 05 hours. DPO Rajanpur further said that the pursuit of the escaped robbers is on. IGP Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated the DPO Rajanpur and his team for taking vigorous action against the dacoits and gave orders to continue the operation under a comprehensive strategy to wipe out the criminals.
