Punjab Police's another major achievement in national level sports competition.

Police athletes won 13 medals in the 20th Men's Classic National Powerlifting Championship 2024.

 Punjab Police continues to rise high in national level sports competition along with anti crime activities.In 20th Men Classic National Powerlifting Championship 2024, Police athletes performed distinguishedly and have won 13 medals. According to the details, more than 100 athletes from 09 teams participated in the National Powerlifting Championship organized in Lahore. Pakistan police team players won 03 gold, 07 silver and 03 bronze medals in th championship. Spokesman Punjab Police said that Syed Nadeem ul Hasan, Majeed Hussain and Muhammad Rizwan won gold medals. Kamran, Shakeel Khalid, Zubair Manzoor, Zaman, Karamat Ali, Mahmood and Babar Hussain won silver medals, whereas Muhammad Azeem, Aamir Ali and Ikram Maqbool won bronze medals.

Police athletes who won medals in the National Championship visited the Sports Board at the Central Police Office and met Director General Pakistan Police Sports Board, Additional IG Finance Riaz Nazir Gara and Chief Sports Officer Athar Ismail. Director General Pakistan Police Sports Board, Additional IG Finance Riaz Nazir Gara and Chief Sports Officer Athar Ismail encouraged the players. Additional IG Welfare Riyaz Nazir Gara announced CC-I certificates and cash awards for all the players. Director General Pakistan Police Sports Board, Additional IG Finance Riaz Nazir Gara said that athletes who win medals in national level competitions are valuable assets of the police department and all possible steps will be taken to encourage such players.
