Punjab Police is in the forefront of the mission of rehabilitating its sick employees and health welfare of police employees continues across the province including Lahore. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has released more funds to support the medical expenses of police employees.
According to the details, Lahore Police’s langri Sabqat ullah Khan was given 05 lakh rupees for the treatment of backbone problem. 01 lakh rupees was given to the wife of the deceased sub-inspector Muhammad Qasim for the treatment of liver and kidneys. Nouman Asher of Special Protection Unit was given Rs.01 lakh for eye treatment. Assistant Director Humair Ahmad Qureshi was given Rs. 01 lakh for the treatment of hernia.70 thousand rupees were given to the wife of constable Rana Muhammad Akhtar Parvez (late) for the treatment of liver disease.The wife of Shaheed Muhammad Afzal of Sheikhupura was directed to contact Ever Care Hospital for evaluation and treatment, DSP was appointed as welfare focal person. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the measures should be continued for the health welfare of police employees and their families with the income from police sources.
