A disabled son of a police officer who died during service was treated with an artificial hand.

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is taking every possible step for the health welfare of police employees, in continuation of which IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar arranged the treatment and an artificial hand to the disabled son of a police officer who died during the service. Saaran Munir, son of Constable Munir Hussain of Toba Tek Singh, had his hand cut by a sharp instrument. Punjab Police treated the young man from the private company Biolinks of Karachi and fitted him with an automatic artificial hand. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the fingers of the artificial hand equipped with modern technology can be moved under an automatic system. This artificial hand also has the ability to hold things and respond to objects. DIG Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salah-ud-din informed IG Punjab about the features of the artificial hand. IG Punjab strongly encouraged the police officer's brave son. IGP Punjab Dr Usman Anwar said that the artificial hand will eliminate Saraan Munir's disability and make his life a little easier. IG Punjab said that Punjab Police is taking all possible measures to provide relief to the employees through more such measures.
