Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring regular measures for the health welfare of the police employees and their families, in continuation of which, IG Punjab has released another 11 lakh 50 thousand rupees for the treatment of police employees of various districts including Lahore.
According to the details, Lahore police constable Sajid Ali Khan was given 03 lakh rupees for the treatment of knee fracture. Cook Muhammad Arshad of SPU Punjab received two lakh and 50 thousands rupees for cancer treatment. Private Secretary Syed Naveed Anjum Zaidi was given 02 lakh 50 thousand rupees for eye treatment. Driver Constable Muhammad Ehsan was given 01 lakh 32 thousand rupees for the treatment of his wife. Lahore Police Inspector Syed Aftab Ahmed Hashmi was given 01 lakh rupees for the treatment of heart disease. Lahore Police constable Rustam Ali was given Rs. 01 lakh for the treatment of leg fracture, whereas Mianwali Police's retired constable Atta Muhammad Khan was given 20 thousand rupees for the treatment of his wife and children.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar released the above mentioned funds after the scrutiny and approval of the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the health welfare of police employees is the first priority, there will be no reduction in welfare measures and speedy recovery of the force.
