Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that complete & early recovery of every hearing impaired child of police employees is our mission and for this purpose, the department will continue to provide all possible support from the welfare fund. IG Punjab has released another 75 lakh rupees for cochlear implant surgeries of 05 police employees. Earlier, funds were released for cochlear implants of 15 children of police employees, while 13 have undergone surgeries. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that with cochlear implant surgery, special children will be able to hear and live life in a normal way.

 

According to the details, 15 lakh rupees were released for the cochlear implant surgery of Sub-Inspector Muhammad Maqsood's 04-year-old daughter Faria. 15 lakh rupees were released for the cochlear implant surgery of Hafsa Rani, the 03-year-old daughter of Constable Kashif Zahoor. 15 lakh rupees were provided for the cochlear implant surgery of Constable Abdul Rahman's 02-year-old daughter Anabiya. 15 lakh rupees were released for the cochlear implant surgery of Arha, one year old daughter of Constable Abdul Wahab, whereas 15 lakh rupees were approved for the cochlear implant surgery of Muhammad Saad, the 02-year-old son of Constable Muhammad Shahbaz. Cochlear implant surgery of all the five children will be done at Ever Care Hospital Lahore. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that measures will continue for the welfare and treatment of the children of police employees under the "Hamare Phool" project. children suffering from thalassemia and cerebral palsy are being given 10,000 per month as stipend for mediacl treatment.
