Names of SHO Ichra Bilal Arabi, ASI Sajid Majeed, Constable Usman has been selected for IG Gallantry Award, Spokesperson Punjab Police.
Constables Adnan, Shahzad, Shehryar, Iftikhar, Naqash, Naveed, Azmat are among those who have played a heroic role beyond the call of duty, spokesperson Punjab Police.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that due to the timely action and wise handling of the police team in the Ichra incident, the country was saved from a major tragedy. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that due to this incident, awareness has been raised among the public about showing extremist reactions without confirmation or investigation. IG Punjab said that the Punjab Police is a leaden wall against all kinds of extremism, vandalism, arson, killing by violence. IG Punjab said that the entire team, including the jawans of the Dolphin Squad, played an important role in saving the woman's life by responding in time. Names of brave officers will be written on the CPO walls for their excellent performance in the Ichra incident. These views were expressed by IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar during a meeting with the heroes of the Ichra incident at the Central Police Office.
SDPO Gulbarg ASP Shehrbano Naqvi briefed the IG Punjab about the details of the Ichhra incident. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated the entire team for saving the woman's life despite risking their lives in the Ichra incident. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated the role of the supervisory officers including Irtza Komail, ASP Shehrbano Naqvi, SHOs, Dolphin Squad team for showing extraordinary courage and bravery. IG Punjab announced awards to the concerned officers and officials for their excellent performance in the Ichra incident. IG Punjab said that the names of SHO Ichra Bilal Arabi, ASI Sajid Majeed and Constable Usman have been selected for IG Gallantry Award. Constables Adnan, Shehzad, Shehryar, Iftikhar, Naqash, Naveed, Azmat have been included among those who have played heroic roles beyond duty. Senior officers including DIG Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi, AIG Discipline Shaista Nadeem, SSP Operations Lahore Ali Raza, SP Model Town and SDPO Gulberg were present in the ceremony.
