Punjab Police’s upgradation completing rapidly, Groundbreaking Ceremony of Regional Office, Special Branch, Lahore held today.
Additional IG Special Branch Zulfiqar Hameed laid the foundation stone for the construction work of Regional Office in LDA Housing Society.
Under the direction of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the upgrading of Punjab Police according to the modern requirements is going on rapidly, in continuation of the groundbreaking ceremony of Regional Office of Special Branch Lahore was held in LDA City Housing Society Today. According to details, Additional IG Special Branch Zulfiqar Hameed laid the foundation stone of the construction work of Regional Office in LDA Housing Society.
Earlier, the Regional Office Special Branch did not have its own building, & existing building in Qurban Lines doesn’t cater to its requirements. The Regional Office will be equipped with modern working facilities in the new 04-storey building of the Special Branch.
Additional IG Special Branch Zulfiqar Hameed said that 07 kanal Land has been allocated for the project of Regional Office Special Branch in LDA Housing Society. Additional IG Special Branch further said that due to its location being the closest to Lahore Ring Road and Ferozepur Road, access to the Regional Office will be easy. The new regional office building is connected to sports complex, park, commercial and residential area. Additional IG Special Branch said that 395 million rupees have been approved for the construction of the new building of Regional Office Special Branch, the project will be completed in 03 years approximately.
