Punjab Police ensured foolproof security arrangements for the first session of the Punjab Assembly
On the instructions of the Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar, Punjab police ensured foolproof security arrangements on the occasion of the first session of the Punjab Assembly and maintained the atmosphere of peace and order while performing duties on high alert,
According to the details, the IG Punjab issued instructions to put security on high alert in the entire province including Lahore on the occasion of the first session of the Assembly and said that full security should be provided to all the members of the Assembly, the House and the session. IG Punjab said that maintaining law and order, protecting lives and property of citizens is the first priority, No one is allowed to take the law into his hands and disturb the peace of the city.
On the instructions of IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar security remained on high alert in and around the assembly building and DIG Operations Lahore supervised the security arrangements. The smooth flow of traffic was ensured during the arrival of the members of the Assembly in the Punjab Assembly. Dolphin Squad, PRU, Elite Force teams continued patrolling in and around the Punjab Assembly Building. On the instructions of IG Punjab, every person coming to Punjab Assembly was allowed to enter only after complete checking and no unauthorized person or vehicle was allowed to enter the assembly premises.
