Punjab Police commenced the Physical tests for new recruitment of constables, lady constables, driver constables and traffic assistants.
In the ongoing process of new recruitment of officials in the police force and to overcome the shortage of force Punjab police has started physical tests of candidates. Physical tests and measurements of constables, lady constables, driver constables and traffic assistants are going on in police lines of various districts including Lahore. Spokesman Punjab Police said that the physical tests of the candidates are being completed under the supervision of the senior officers supervising the recruitment board and the eligible candidates who fulfill the rules and regulations will be made a part of the police force according to merit. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that male and female candidates who have the passion to serve the nation are being made part of the police force and in total, more than 11 thousand recruitments will be completed in the police force in a phased manner. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that the recruitment process in the police force should be completed in full transparency and as per the issued given SOPs.
