IGP Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring regular measures for the health welfare of the police force.

For the treatment of 06 officials who were injured in the line of duty, another 11 lakh rupees were released.

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring regular measures for the health welfare of police employees, in continuation of which, an amount of Rs. 11 lakh has been released for the treatment of 06 personnel who were injured during duty. According to the details, two and a half lakh rupees were given to the injured constable Rana Adnan Manzoor of Lahore Police for medical expenses. 03 lakh rupees were given to the injured sub-inspector Zia Haq of CTD Rahim Yar Khan for treatment. Two and a half lakh rupees were released for the medical expenses of the injured constable Muhammad Aleem of Elite Force Rajanpur. Rawalpindi Police’s Ghazi Sub-Inspector Aizaz Azim was given Rs. 02 lakh for treatment, whereas the injured constable Amar Ahsan of Rahim Yar Khan was given 01 lakh rupees for treatment.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed to continue the measures for health welfare of police employees. IGP Punjab said that the quick rehabilitation of the officers and personnel injured during duty is the first priority, and all possible cooperation should be continued. He said that the cases related to health welfare should be sent to the Central Police Office.
