LAHORE : A police constable was killed while his friend was injured when a speeding car went out of control and hit a tree in Batapur area on Saturday. It has been reported that Constable Khalid was going to Sherakot with his friend when a high-speed car hit them in Batapur area. As a result of which the constable died on the spot while his friend Tasawur was injured and shifted to the hospital. According to the police record, the deceased Khalid was a resident of Minhala village and was posted in Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh.
