LAHORE: IGP Punjab Dr Usman Anwar has directed police officers concerned to provide relief to several police personnel. He issued these directions during his meeting with police personnel and their families at the Central Police Office on Thursday.He directed DIG Legal to take action on the request of ASI Niaz Ahmed Khan of Muzaffargarh for service period fixation. On the application submitted by ASI Ghulam Murtaza’s son, he ordered DPO Sialkot to provide relief as per merit. IG directed the DIG Welfare to provide relief on the request of Constable Sardar Khalil Ahmed for medical assistance. He further ordered to provide relief to a driver constable M Shahzad and retired Constable Atta Muhammad.
