Punjab Police’s Excellent Work, Safely recovered the hostage who was kidnapped from Lahore for ransom from Mianwali, 05 accused were arrested.
A major operation by Punjab Police, a hostage citizen kidnapped for ransom from Lahore was safely recovered from Mianwali, all the accused involved in the incident were also arrested. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated the DPO Mianwali and his team for the safe recovery of the hostage. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that the legal proceedings should be completed soon and the accused should be brought to justice.
According to the details, Khurram Nazir Khan, a resident of Lahore, was kidnapped two days ago by 05 culprits from his Advertising Agency office at Lahore Defense. The accused kidnapped the hostage and brought him to Wata khel area in Mianwali and demanded ransom crores of rupees from the heirs of the hostage. Spokesman Punjab Police said that IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar gave the task of safe recovery of the hostage to DPO Mianwali Matiullah Khan. The police team led by DPO Mianwali traced the location of the accused with the help of modern technology and human resource intelligence. The police conducted a successful raid in Kacha wata Khel, an area adjacent to the Indus River, and arrested all the kidnappers and recovered the hostages safely. Punjab Police spokesman said that the arrested accused include Muhammad Hassan, Muhammad Shahzad Khan, Muhammad Ali, Nadeem Haider and Muhammad Aamir, while the two vehicles used in the crime including a Vigo Dala and the car have also been seized.
