Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that the best welfare of the police force is the first priority and all possible measures are being ensured to resolve the difficulties and problems faced by the force. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the supervisory officers should maintain close liaison with the subordinate staff and provide them with all possible relief on merit in professional matters and their requests. He expressed these views while meeting police employees and their families at the Central Police Office.

According to the details, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met the police employees and their families at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar issued orders regarding the immediate relief after listening to the requests of the police force. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed DIG Legal to take action on the request of ASI Niaz Ahmed Khan of Muzaffargarh for service period fixation. On the application submitted by ASI Ghulam Murtaza's son, IGP Punjab ordered DPO Sialkot to provide relief as per merit. IGP Punjab directed the DIG Welfare to provide relief on the request of Constable Sardar Khalil Ahmed for medical assistance. The request for district transfer of driver constable Muhammad Shahzad, DIG Establishment II was sent for action. On the request of Constable Atta Muhammad (retd) IGP Punjab directed the Accountant CPO to help him out. IG Punjab directed to provide relief to all the employees for immediate action on other requests related to welfare, admin and discipline matters and said that reports should be sent to the Central Police Office after processing the requests.
