IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the senior scale stenographers on departmental promotion, expressed best wishes for their future.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar has said that hardworking, capable and dutiful staff officers are valuable assets of any department, who play a vital role in smooth working of the department. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that promotions are going on in the police department according to merit and seniority in every cadre, in continuation of which 11 senior scale stenographers have been promoted as Private Secretaries. IG Punjab said that further promotions will be ensured as per rules and regulations on the vacant seats of senior scale stenographers. Dr. Usman Anwar said that for policy making in service structure and departmental promotions, consultation and consent of police employees are also being taken into consideration. IGP Punjab said that the work environment for the police force has been improved, which resulted in better service delivery to citizens and enhanced dignity of the officers and officials of the police force. He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held in honour of the officers promoted from senior scale stenographer to private secretary at the Central Police Office today.

Among the promoted officers are Tanveer Ahmad Nadeem, Ghulam Farid, Muhammad Salim Toor, Muhammad Aslam, Adeel Akhtar, Iftikhar Hussain, Faisal Shabbir, Muhammad Aslam Sethi, Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Farid Chaudhry and Mirza Javed Iqbal. Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry, Additional IG Operations Shahzada Sultan, DIG Headquarters Humayun Bashir Tarar, DIG Establishment Zeeshan Asghar, AIG Admin Dr. Muhammad Rizwan and other officers were present in the ceremony.
