Another 10 lakh rupees was released for medical treatment to the police employees serving in different districts.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring regular measures for the health welfare of police employees, in continuation of which, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has released another 10 lakh rupees for the treatment of police officers serving in different districts. Rawalpindi Police sub-inspector Rameez Haider was given Rs 05 lakh for chemotherapy. Constable Sikandar Butt of Gujarat Police was given two and a half lakh rupees for the treatment of brain tumor. DSP Muhammad Tahir of Jhang was given one lakh 25 thousand rupees for the treatment of heart disease. Mst. Tehreem Akbar widow of Lahore Police driver constable Shabbir was given Rs. 01 lakh to pay medical expenses, whereas Sargodha Constable Muneer Hussain's son's amputated hand case was sent to DSP Welfare PQR for Biolinks and assessment report. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed to continue the measures for the health welfare of the force. He said that no police officer suffering from health problems will be left alone to fight the disease.
