More than 13 lakh rupees have been released for the treatment of police officials serving in different districts.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring regular steps for the health welfare of police force, in continuation of which, IG Punjab has released funds of more than 13 lakh rupees for the treatment of police officials belonging to different districts. According to the details, Gujarat police constable Amjad Baig was given 05 lakh rupees for the treatment of brain tumor. CTD Sargodha Constable Tufail Ahmed Khan was given two and a half lakh rupees for the treatment of his wife. Constable Ilyas Khan of Lahore was given 02 lakh rupees for the treatment of his knee. ASI Ghulam Qasim of PTC Multan was given Rs. 02 lakh for medical expenses.
Constable Salman Yousaf of Okara was given Rs. 01 lakh for the treatment of cancer, Rawalpindi sub-inspector Chaudhry Bashir Ahmed has been given 70 thousand rupees for the treatment of his wife's kidneys.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed to continue the measures for the health welfare of the force. IGP Punjab said that the welfare branch should keep providing financial assistance to all police employees and their families for medical expenses.
