IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring regular measures for the health welfare of the police force.
More than 12 lakh rupees have been released for health welfare of 07 officials serving in various districts.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring regular measures the health welfare of the police force, in continuation of which IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has released more than 12 lakh rupees funds for the treatment of 07 officials of different districts including Lahore.
According to the details, Layyah Police's head constable Shabir Chandio was given Rs. 05 lakh rupees for the treatment of his wife's liver cancer. ASI Muhammad Anees of Faisalabad was given two and a half lakh rupees for the treatment of his wife. Senior traffic warden of Rawalpindi Asif Mahmood was given 02 lakh rupees for the treatment of his wife. PHP Lahore SP Fateh Ahmad was given 70 thousand rupees for the treatment of his wife. Rawalpindi Police's sub-inspector Mehboob Hussain was referred to Kidney and Liver Institute for liver transplant. ASI Muhammad Arshad Shakir of Lahore was given Rs. 01 lakh for treatment of arm fracture, while Constable Amir Ali was given 01 lakh rupees for kidney treatment.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed to continue the measures for the health welfare of the force. IGP Punjab said that the welfare branch should provide all possible financial support to the force by taking immediate action on the requests received from different districts.
