Any criminal or suspicious activity can be reported confidentially to Safe City Crime Stoppers via call and by providing photographic evidence on the website.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar formally inaugurated the Safe City "Crime Stoppers" service. Through the Crime Stoppers service, citizens will be able to give secret information to prevent crimes and unlawful activity occurring around them. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that citizens can report or contact at Safe City Crime Stoppers in two ways, citizens can call directly at Crime Stoppers on 033SAFECITY i.e. 03372332489, secret information can also be shared on Safe City website www.psca.gop.pk along with photo or video evidence. Safe City Crime Stoppers is anonymous and confidentiality is guaranteed, citizens can report about drug dealers, terrorists, and brothels, can be reported to "Crime Stoppers". Crime Stoppers can be used to report robberies, proclaimed offenders and fugitives and anti social elements involved in fake and sub standard productions etc Similarly, confidential information can be given about sexual crimes, gambling dens, human trafficking, illegal weapons and theft of electricity, gas and water etc. The identity of those contacting the Safe City Crime Stopper Service is not disclosed under any circumstances. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Crime Stopper Service was introduced to promote community policing. Citizens should report to the police in a timely manner with a sense of security. Before taking action, the police will ensure the verification of the information through appropriate means, and after verification of the information, the criminals will be brought to justice. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the citizens should play their role for the bright and secure future of their children. It is pertinent to mention that the "Safe City Crime Stoppers" service is only for confidential reporting, in case of any emergency or incident of crime, citizens should contact emergency number 15 only.
