IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring regular measures for the health welfare of police force.

Another 11 lakh rupees was released for medical expenses to the personnel who were injured in the line of duty.

Under the supervision of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar,   welfare branch is ensuring regular measures for the health welfare of police employees. Following this, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar released another 11 lakh rupees for the medical expenses of the personnel who were injured while performing duty. According to the details, Rs 250,000 was given to the injured ASI Muhammad Shoaib of Rawalpindi, while Rs 150,000 was given to the injured Constable Shahid Qamar for medical expenses. Faisalabad police’s injured Constable Muhammad Shakeel was given 02 lakh rupees for the medical expenses. Injured ASI Haq Nawaz was given 02 lakhs PKR for medical welfare whereas driver constable Adnan Hanif was given one hundred and fifty thousand rupees for medical expenses. Spokesman Punjab Police said that DG Khan's injured constables Muhammad Tauqeer and Abdul Hameed have been given 75 thousand rupees each for medical expenses. The above-mentioned officers and officials were seriously injured in various incidents in the line of duty. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the department is ensuring all possible support for the best treatment and early rehabilitation of the officers and personnel injured during duty.
