Police arrested the culprit Arshad who opened the fire on the spot.
IGP directed DPO Kasur to investigate every aspect of the incident and take strict legal action against the arrested accused.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has taken notice of the incident of firing within Katchery premise Chunian Kasur and has sought a report of the incident from RPO Sheikhupura. According to the details, one of the accused, Qudrat Ullah, who came to appear in the court was killed in the incident, while four people, including police constable Salman, were injured. Among the other injured are Sunny, Misbah alias Allah Wasaya and Haider Shabbir. The accused named Arshad, who opened fire, was arrested on the spot. The injured are being shifted to Lahore, police station city and crime scene team is present at the spot.
IGP directed DPO Kasur to investigate every aspect of the incident and take strict legal action against the arrested accused. IGP Punjab ordered that justice should be ensured to the deceased’s family on priority basis.
