According to the details, all the 737 police stations of the province have been transferred to the Special Initiative Protocol, 97 percent citizens expressed satisfaction with the performance of Special Initiative Police Stations through feedback on the QR code system. Approval was given to build 40 smart police stations across the Punjab, 20,000 promotions were given from constable to SP rank, recruitment process including service structure, regularization of the employees was improved. 151 Service Centers, 36 Meesaq Centers and 39 Tahaffuz marakaz were established across Punjab, In last five years 02 crore 05 million citizens whereas, more than 01 crore citizens got services from Police khidmat marakaz, Reforms in Traffic Management, Issuance of traffic licence facility was granted at 737 police stations, 360 patrolling posts and 151 khidmat centers. More than 4 million citizens have benefited from the e-license service, 130 new license centers have been created, rate of issuance of licensing has increased by more than 25 hundred percent.The scope of the Safe City project has been extended to 21 more cities, more than 100 animals have been rescued in three Police Animal Rescue Centers built in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Gujranwala, Punjab Highway Patrol was given the authority to issue driving licenses, challan tickets and axle load management, new vehicles were given to Punjab Highway Patrol, Elite Force Rules 2023 were amended after 26 years, allowance was increased by Rs. 37 crore per year, all vehicles of Dolphin and Police Response Unit were repaired. The Counter Terrorism Department was revamped, 425 hardcore terrorists were neutralized and 650 arrested after live encounters. Special branch buildings, offices and mess were renovated. The posts of DIG Organized Crime Unit and DIG Admin Lahore were created. More than 32 thousand police officers and personnel undergone the training and refresher courses. Better representation of women in the police force, equal opportunities in field posting and section heads were appointed in different branches. APC vehicles were provided to eradicate the dacoits, terrorists and criminals in rough, difficult areas. In one year, more than 65 thousand acres of kacha area was cleared, more than 150 proclaimed offenders absconding abroad were arrested with Close coordination of Interpol. 05 thousand 905 criminal gangs were arrested, 650 terrorists and dangerous criminals were arrested. 27% in Punjab, 43% in Lahore, 34% in Rawalpindi and 23% in Multan, decrease in crime rate were observed. 171 martyrs medals, 218 Ghazi Medals, 12 Bravery Medals were given. All the offices of Punjab Police across the province were renovated. Residential apartments and flats for police employees were completed at Qurban Lines and Bhubtian, Punjab Police cordially thanked the caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi for completing the above mentioned projects.
