Under the leadership of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police is determined and engaged in operations against terrorists, anti social elements, miscreants, criminals and in this regard, Punjab Police has been provided with new APC vehicles for field operations equipped with latest resources. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the new APC vehicles will provide immense help in effective operations against robbers, anti-national elements in rough areas, difficult terrain and river areas, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar added that Commandos of Punjab Police have started training with newly acquired APC vehicles, Punjab Police has so far cleared more than 61 thousand 500 acres of land from dangerous kacha dacoits, criminals and terrorists, IG Punjab said. Dr. Usman Anwar added that he is grateful to the Punjab government and the Pakistan Army for providing modern APC vehicles to the Punjab police. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is steadfast in the rough areas despite the severity of the weather, floods and adverse conditions, our brave policemen dedicated with the spirit of martyrdom are the iron wall in front of anti-social elements for the protection of the citizens and the nation.
