IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited Rawalpindi, inspected the under construction modern Safe City Project and Special Initiative Police Stations

Punjab Police has established Police Animal Rescue Centers in various cities for the help, treatment and care of animals suffering from accidents and violence, IG Punjab

IG Punjab also signed MOUs with various welfare organizations for providing modern facilities in the Police Animal Rescue Center.

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited Rawalpindi and inspected various development projects of infrastructure development including the modern under construction safe city project. RPO Rawalpindi Syed Khurram Ali and CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani briefed the IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar about the completion of the Safe Cities Project. IG Punjab inspected various parts of Safe Cities Project Rawalpindi and directed to complete the project within the timeline. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated the quality of construction works. IG Punjab said that various cities including Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Gujranwala are being made more safer and peaceful with the completion of the Safe City Projects. IGP Punjab said that effective use of modern technology will further improve the process of crime control, traffic management and monitoring of sensitive installations.

After the Safe City Project, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited Special Initiative Police Stations in Rawalpindi. IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar inspected Special Initiative Police Stations Civil Lines and Sadar Baroni. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited all offices of the police stations and appreciated the modern up-gradation in a short period of time. Rawalpindi police officers briefed the Inspector General of Police Punjab regarding ongoing projects.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the completion of Special Initiative Police Stations in record time is an important achievement. Special Initiative Police Stations are ensuring the best environment and easier service delivery to the citizens. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that all the resources are being used to provide modern facilities and clean environment to the citizens in police stations. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that all the development projects of Rawalpindi Police should be completed within the stipulated period.

Later IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar also inaugurated Police Animal Rescue Center Gawalmandi Rawalpindi.RPO Rawalpindi Syed Khurram Ali, CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani, senior officers, leading artists and a large number of social personalities participated in the ceremony. ASP Kainat Azhar gave a briefing about the facilities available at Punjab Animal Rescue Center Rawalpindi.IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police has established Police Animal Rescue centers in different cities for the help, treatment and care of animals suffering from accidents and violence etc, this is the third animal rescue center established in Rawalpindi after Lahore, Gujranwala. IG Punjab said that the police animal rescue centers are providing first aid, treatment and health care facilities to the animals. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that in civilized societies, the protection and welfare of animals is also taken care of effectively. Police Animal Rescue Center will work to help the animals suffering from problems everywhere including roads, streets, neighborhood, IG Punjab said that Punjab Police is making the society safe for humans as well as animals. Before the ceremony, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar also signed MOUs with various leading social welfare organizations for providing modern facilities in the Police Animal Rescue Center.
