IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, ensuring regular measures for health welfare of police employees and their families

IGP Punjab issued another 07 lakh rupee for medical expenses of the police employees of various districts including Lahore.

On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, priority measures are being taken for the health welfare of Punjab Police employees and their families and in this regard, IG Punjab issued another 07 lakh rupee for medical expenses of the police employees of various districts including Lahore.

According to the details, SP Fateh Ahmed of PHP Lahore was given 02 lakh rupees for his wife's surgery, Constable Adeel Zafar of Khanewal was given 02 lakh rupees for the treatment of brain tumor, Son of Constable Muhammad Rafiq of Khanewal was given Rs. 01 lakh for kidney transplant expenses. Sheikhupura traffic constable Ghulam Nawaz was given 76 thousand 606 rupees for the treatment of brain tumor, PHP Punjab constable Rana Muhammad Irfan was given Rs 62 thousand 158 for medical expenses whereas Constable from Multan, Muhammad Ashfaq was given 50 thousand rupees for the treatment of asthma.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar released the above mentioned funds after the approval of the Welfare Management Committee, Additional IG Welfare and Finance Riaz Nazir Gara sent the above mentioned case to IG Punjab after scrutiny of documents. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that all possible assistance should be provided to police employees in payment of medical expenses from welfare funds and police welfare sources.
