IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar actively ensuring all possible measures for health welfare of police employees and their families
IG Punjab issued another 13 lakh 70 thousand rupees to the police employees of various districts for the payment of medical expenses.
Kamran Mehmood, Constable of Tele and Transport, was given Rs 10 lakh for kidney transplant.

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring priority measures for the health welfare of police employees and their families, in continuation of which IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has issued another 13 lakh 70 thousand rupees to the police employees of various districts, including Lahore, for their medical expenses. According to the details, Kamran Mehmood, constable of Tele and Transport, was given 10 lakh rupees for kidney transplant. Retired Faisalabad Inspector Nazir Ahmed Saqib was given Rs. 02 lakh for the bypass operation. Gujarat Police's Constable Muhammad Naeem Ashraf was given Rs. 01 lakh to pay for medical expenses, whereas Abdul Majeed, constable of Tele Transport Punjab, was given 70 thousand rupees for the treatment of his wife's spinal card problem.
Additional IG Welfare and Finance Riaz Nazir Gara chaired the welfare Management Committee meeting, which sent the above-mentioned cases to IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar after scrutiny and approval of funds, on which the IG Punjab approved the release of funds. IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar said that the health welfare of the police force and their families is the first priority, and further measures will be taken in this regard.
