IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has issued more than 11.5 lakh rupees for the welfare of children of police employees.

For health welfare of police employees & their families, priority measures will remain continue this year too. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar.

Under the direction of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, priority measures are being taken by the welfare branch for the health welfare of police employees, in continuation of which, IG Punjab has released more than 11.5 lakh rupees for the welfare of children of police employees of various districts including Lahore.

According to the details, Muhammad Talha, son of constable Rehan Naveed, was given 03 lakh rupees for the treatment of heart disease. 03 lakh rupees were released for the medical expenses of ASI Habib-ur-Rehman's daughter Fiza Imaan. ASI Muhammad Idrees was given two and a half lakh rupees for the cancer treatment of his daughter Wajiha Idrees. Head Constable Aslam Pervez received Rs 70,000 for treatment of his son Osama Aslam accident. Constables Javed Ilyas and Muhammad Afzal were given 70 thousand rupees each for the treatment of their children. Orderly Faisal Nadeem received 70 thousand rupees for the treatment of his son, whereas stenographer Muhammad Fareed was given 30 thousand rupees for the treatment of his son.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that priority measures should be continued for the health welfare of the families of police employees from the Police Welfare Fund this year as well.  IG Punjab said that the RPOs, DPOs should send the cases related to the health welfare of their subordinates to the Central Police Office along with the relevant documents.
