Punjab Police intensified the crackdown to arrest dangerous proclaimed offenders absconding abroad
Punjab Police arrested two more proclaimed offenders wanted in different incidents from the UAE.
Proclaimed offender Muhammad Nasir fled abroad after the dacoity incident in Lodhran in 2022.
The second proclaimed offender Jahanzeb was wanted by City Division Police Rahim Yar Khan Police in another dacoity case.
On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the crackdown of the Punjab Police is continuing without interruption to arrest dangerous criminals and proclaimed offenders who are absconding abroad, in continuation of which Punjab Police have arrested and extradited two more proclaimed offenders from the United Arab Emirates.
According to details, Muhammad Nasir fled abroad after the dacoity incident in Lodhran in 2022. The second proclaimed offender Jahanzeb was wanted by City Division Police Rahim Yar Khan Police in another dacoity case. Punjab Police team issued red notices from Interpol to arrest the both proclaimed offenders, arrested both of them with continuous follow-up and finally extradited the both proclaimed offenders from the UAE. With the arrest of two proclaimed offenders, the total number of arrested criminals arrested from abroad in eight days of this year has reached 05. These criminals have been arrested from different countries including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar commended the police teams for arresting the proclaimed offenders and said that the both criminals should be punished after completing the legal proceedings.
