Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met DPO Khushab and his team at the Central Police Office in reference of the police station diaries. DPO Khushab Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem while giving a briefing about the performance of Khushab Police said that in the last four months due to the timely actions and effective investigation of Khushab Police, the crime rate in Khushab has reduced by 31%. DPO Khushab said that all 09 police stations of the district have been transferred to the Special Initiative Protocol and in these model police stations Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif, Khushwant Singh, Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi, sacrifices of Khushab Police martyrs and regional culture have been highlighted.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar discussed with the DSPs and SHOs of Khushab about the ongoing operations of crack down against crimes. IGP Punjab appreciated the performance of the SHOs for successfully tracing the arrest of 13 criminals of the notorious Dhoti gang, gang rape, robbery at the house of an overseas Pakistan and several blind murders. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the exemplary services provided from the platform of Police Tahaffuz Center Khushab to the people suffering from social problems are commendable.IGP Punjab directed that the scope of work of Tahaffuz markaz should be expanded further. Citizens from Khushab thanked IG Punjab for improving the police working and ensuring the provision of justice due to timely actions. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed DSPs and SHOs to strengthen the crackdown against crimes.IGP Punjab said that the process of providing services to the citizens should be made easier with the efficient use of information technology. IG Punjab said that no effort should be spared in serving the citizens with sincerity and good morals and special initiative police stations should be presented for inspection for doctors, lawyers and other civil society.
