IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar gave home to the family of another martyred policeman who sacrificed his life in the line of duty.
The family of ASI Asim Ali Shaheed was given a house worth Rs 1 crore 75 lakh according to their choice, spokesman Punjab Police.
ASI Asim Ali Shaheed was posted at Manga Mandi police station, he was martyred by robbers via firing in December 2022.

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar is actively working for the welfare of the families of police martyrs and under the ongoing measures in this regard, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has given a house to the family of another martyred policeman who sacrificed his life in the line of duty. The family of ASI Asim Ali Shaheed was given a house worth Rs 1 crore 75 lakh according to their choice. Spokesman Punjab Police said that ASI Asim Ali Shaheed was posted at Manga Mandi police station. In December 2022, he was martyred by the firing of dacoits while on duty. The family members of ASI Asim Ali Shaheed include his wife and two young sons. The spokesperson of Punjab Police said that the family of the martyr has been provided a house equipped with all facilities in Tehsil Shahkot of Nankana District.
On the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Punjab government released funds for the house of the martyr's family. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid tribute to the eternal sacrifice of ASI Asim Ali Shaheed and said that ASI Asim Ali Shaheed bravely fought the dangerous dacoits without caring for his life. Punjab Police will never forget the eternal sacrifice of their brave son. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is the guardian force of more than 1600 brave martyrs like ASI Asim Ali Shaheed, best possible welfare of their families and kids is top priority and priority measures will remain continue in this regard.
