The leading media agency "Sunday Times" included "Police Animal Rescue Center" among the best 07 works of the year 2023.

Punjab Police’s Animal Rescue Center established in the provincial capital has achieved a special honor this year. According to the details, "Police Animal Rescue Center (PARC)" has been included in the list of the best initiatives of the year 2023 by the leading media agency "Sunday Times". A special video of the best 07 works of the year 2023 has been released by Sunday Times, in which "Police Animal Rescue Center (PARC)" has been placed at the fourth place.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police has established PARC in Lahore for the protection and treatment of abandoned animals and now the scope of Police Animal Rescue Centers is being extended across the province. IG Punjab said that Animal Rescue Centers have been activated in 03 big cities by Punjab Police, after Lahore, police animal rescue centers have also been established in Gujranwala and Rawalpindi too, so far, hundreds of animals and pets have been treated at these Police Animal Rescue Centers, while many cases have been registered under the Animal Protection Act 1890 for the violation of animal rights.
