Punjab Police Inter Range Hockey Tournament,Lahore Range and Sahiwal Range Police Hockey Teams faced each other in final match
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar arrived at the National Hockey Stadium, watched the final match.
Lahore Range Police Hockey Team beat Sahiwal Police Team 3-0.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar awarded trophies and medals to the winners of the Punjab Police Inter-Range Hockey Tournament, Lahore Range Police and runner-up teams.
The sports cadre has been restored in the Punjab Police, after 18 years the police range hockey tournament has taken place.
Prize money has been increased for winning players, sports wall has been constructed at Central Police Office, IG Punjab
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar watched the final match of Punjab Police Inter Range Hockey Tournament at the National Hockey Stadium, in which Lahore Range and Sahiwal Range Police hockey teams competed. Former Olympian hockey player Shahbaz Sr., Khawaja Junaid, Qasim Khan, Chaudhry Akhtar Rasool and many other famous hockey players were also present in the stadium. Senior officers including MD Punjab Safe Cities Authority Pattern Pakistan Police Hockey Team Ahsan Younas, Chief Sports Officer Pakistan Police Sports Board DIG Athar Ismail, DIG Operations Lahore Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, CTO Lahore Amara Athar were also present. Lahore Range Police Hockey Team defeated Sahiwal Police Team by 3-0, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar awarded trophies and medals to the winner Lahore Range Police and runner-up teams of Punjab Police Inter Range Hockey Tournament. IG Punjab met the players of both teams, police hockey teams from Lahore, Sahiwal Sargodha and Rahim Yar Khan Ranges participated in the Punjab Police Inter Range Hockey Tournament.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that priority measures are underway for the patronage of sports in PunjabPolice, Punjab police is providing all facilities and encouragement to its sports players.IG Punjab said that Punjab Police has won 15 medals in the recently held National Sports , IG Punjab while talking to media representatives said that sports cadre has been restored in Punjab Police. After 18 years, the Police Range Hockey Tournament has been held, the prize money has been increased for the winning players, a sports wall has been built at the Central Police Office, Our players are representing Punjab in national and international sports events, all good initiatives for patronage of sports in Punjab Police will remain continue.
