IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar informed MD National Police Foundation about the transfer of police stations to the Special Initiative Protocol.
Later, MD National Police Foundation M. Sabir Ahmed visited the police station race course and police club.
All police stations in the province are being upgraded to Special Initiative Police Stations by December 31. IG Punjab.
MD National Police Foundation M. Sabir Ahmad visited the Central Police Office and met IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, during the meeting, the professional issues related to modern training of police force, welfare measures, and capacity building of police force were discussed. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar informed the MD National Police Foundation about the transfer of police stations to the Special Initiative Protocol. IGP Punjab said that all the police stations of the province are being upgraded to the Special Initiative Police Stations Protocol by December 31. Special Initiative police stations will have all the facilities of a modern police station and will provide services in a comfortable environment to the citizens.
Later, IG Punjab took MD National Police Foundation M Sabir Ahmad on a visit to police station race course and police club. MD National Police Foundation was informed about the ongoing development works in Police Club and the construction of Special Initiative Police Station. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the Punjab Police is ensuring upgrading of its all infrastructure in the whole province. IGP Dr. Usman also informed that the provision of houses for the families of all the martyrs before 2017 is in under process, whereas the jobs have been provided to children of all the martyrs in the police department on a priority basis. IG Punjab further said that steps are being taken under comprehensive strategy for health welfare of police force, education welfare of children, and career growth. MD National Police Foundation praised the recent initiatives for police infrastructure and welfare of the force. M Sabir Ahmad said that the National Police Foundation will continue its full support for the capacity building and welfare projects of the police force. Additional IG Welfare Riaz Nazir Gara, Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, DIG Sohail Akhtar Sukhira, DIG Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, AIG Inspection Shaista Nadeem and other officers were present.
