TOBA TEK SINGH: Gojra city police have arrested a maid and her accomplice in a house theft case, recovering gold ornaments and other valuables worth more than Rs3.3 million from them. District police spokesperson says that the suspect Humaira and her accomplice Javed Ashiq, both of Shadab Colony, Faisalabad, had been recruited as house helps by a resident of Garden Town, Gojra. He said the duo stole gold ornaments and other valuables from the house and fled away. The suspects were traced by police through geo-fencing and were taken into custody. On being interrogated, they confessed that they were hardened criminals and would disappear after stealing valuables from their employers’ houses.
