MUZAFFARGARH: Police claimed on Tuesday to have rescued from a tandoor shop in Mohalla Bukhariwala two young brothers who had been kidnapped one and a half months ago from the Bet Mir Hazarin Jatoi area. District Police Officer Syed Hasnain Haider said Ehsan (12) and Farman (14) had gone missing from their home at Bet Mir Hazarin. A case of kidnapping against unidentified men was lodged with the Bet Mir Hazarin police. He said the Muzaffargarh police launched extensive raids across various locations to locate the missing youngsters. During an operation, police rescued the two boys from a tandoor shop situated in Mohalla Bukhariwala, a densely populated area of Muzaffargarh city. Police also arrested tandoor owner Bilal. Investigations are under way as it revealed that the children had been forced into labour over the past one and a half months.Appreciation certificates and prizes were announced for the raiding team.
